What data does Ori store?
Section titled “What data does Ori store?”Ori stores the minimum data needed to operate. Here’s exactly what’s stored, for how long, and how to delete it.
Data Ori stores

Section titled “Server configuration”Plugin settings, channel selections, role selections, embed colors, and other configuration options.
- Retained: While Ori is in the server
- Deleted: When Ori is removed from the server
Giveaway records
Section titled “Giveaway records”Entries, winners, seeds, hashes, and timestamps for each giveaway.
- Retained: 180 days after the giveaway ends
- Deleted: Permanently deleted after 180 days
Moderation logs
Section titled “Moderation logs”Records of kick, ban, mute, warn, and purge actions including moderator, target, reason, and timestamp.
- Retained: While Ori is in the server
- Deleted: When Ori is removed from the server
Data Ori does NOT store
Section titled “Data Ori does NOT store”- Message content — Ori does not read, log, or store message content. The moderation
/purgecommand deletes messages but does not record their content. - Member lists — Ori queries Discord’s API in real time when it needs member information. It does not maintain a copy of your member list.
- Voice data — Ori has no voice functionality and stores no voice-related data.
- DM content — Ori does not read or store direct messages.
- Browsing or activity data — Ori does not track what channels members visit or what they do in your server.
How to delete your data
Section titled “How to delete your data”Remove Ori from your server
Section titled “Remove Ori from your server”Go to Server Settings → Integrations → Ori → Remove. All configuration data and moderation logs for that server are deleted.
Giveaway data
Section titled “Giveaway data”Giveaway records are automatically deleted 180 days after the giveaway ends. There is no manual deletion option before the 180-day period — this ensures the provably fair verification remains available for a reasonable period.
Where is data stored?
Section titled “Where is data stored?”Ori’s backend data is stored on Convex, a cloud database. The giveaway public pages are served via Cloudflare. The Ori dashboard is hosted on Cloudflare.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Does Ori sell data? No. Ori does not sell, share, or monetize user data in any way.
Does Ori comply with GDPR? Ori stores minimal data and deletes it when the bot is removed. For specific GDPR requests, contact support.
Can I export my server’s data? Server configuration is visible in the dashboard. There is no bulk export feature.
What happens to giveaway entries after 180 days? They are permanently deleted. The giveaway page becomes unavailable.
