How do I enter an Ori giveaway?
Section titled “How do I enter an Ori giveaway?”To enter an Ori giveaway, click the Enter button on the giveaway message in Discord. That’s it — one click, you’re in. No commands to type, no reactions to add. You’ll see the entry count increase to confirm your entry.
Step by step
Section titled “Step by step”- Find the giveaway message in your Discord server — it shows the prize, time remaining, and an Enter button
- Click the Enter button
- Ori confirms your entry. The entry count on the message increases.
- Wait for the timer to end. The winner is announced in the same channel.
How do I know I’m entered?
Section titled “How do I know I’m entered?”After clicking the button, Ori confirms your entry. You can also visit the giveaway’s public page (the link is on the Discord message) to see your name in the entry list.
Can I enter twice?
Section titled “Can I enter twice?”No. Each Discord account can enter once per giveaway. If you try to enter again, Ori will let you know you’ve already entered.
How are winners selected?
Section titled “How are winners selected?”Ori uses a provably fair system. Before any entries open, Ori locks in a secret code and publishes a fingerprint of that code on the giveaway page. After entries close, the code is revealed and the winner is calculated from it. Nobody — not even the server admin — can influence the result.

What is the giveaway page?
Section titled “What is the giveaway page?”Every Ori giveaway has a public webpage (like g-abc123.ori.gives) that shows:
- The prize
- Live entry count
- Countdown timer
- After the draw: the winner and verification proof
Anyone can view this page — no login required. It’s the public record of the giveaway.
What if the giveaway has bot protection?
Section titled “What if the giveaway has bot protection?”Some servers enable bot protection (a Plus feature). If bot protection is on, clicking the Enter button will redirect you to the giveaway’s webpage to verify you’re a real person before your entry is recorded. You’ll sign in with Discord and complete a quick verification step.
What happens when I win?
Section titled “What happens when I win?”The winner is announced in the Discord channel where the giveaway was posted. Your name will also appear on the giveaway’s public page. The server admin will typically contact you to deliver the prize.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Do I need to type any commands to enter? No. Just click the Enter button on the giveaway message.
Can the server admin pick who wins? No. Winners are selected by a cryptographic algorithm that the admin cannot influence. See Provably Fair Giveaways Explained.
I clicked Enter but nothing happened Make sure you clicked the green/primary button on the giveaway message, not a different button. If the giveaway has ended, the Enter button will be disabled.
Can I enter giveaways in multiple servers? Yes. Each giveaway is independent. Entering one does not affect another.
