Plugin Configuration — Ori Discord Bot
How do I configure Ori plugins?
Section titled “How do I configure Ori plugins?”Open the Ori dashboard, select your server, and click any plugin to open its settings. Every configurable option is visual — dropdowns, toggles, text fields, color pickers. No commands, no syntax to learn.
Enabling and disabling plugins
Section titled “Enabling and disabling plugins”Each plugin has a toggle switch. Click it to enable or disable the plugin instantly. Disabled plugins don’t respond to events or commands.
Plugin settings
Section titled “Plugin settings”Each plugin page shows all available settings. Common patterns across plugins:
- Channel selection — dropdown of channels in your server where Ori has permission to send messages
- Role selection — dropdown of roles Ori can assign (roles below Ori’s role in the hierarchy)
- Text fields — for messages, titles, descriptions. Support variables where noted.
- Toggles — on/off switches for optional features
- Color picker — for embed colors
Testing
Section titled “Testing”Most plugins have a Test button that sends a real message to your Discord server. Use this to verify your configuration looks right before it goes live. The test sends an actual message — your members will see it if they’re watching the channel.
Saving changes
Section titled “Saving changes”Changes save automatically as you configure. There is no “Save” button — when you change a setting, it takes effect immediately.
Resetting a plugin
Section titled “Resetting a plugin”To reset a plugin to its defaults, disable it and re-enable it. This clears the configuration for that plugin.
